Delivery and Returns

Emma's Home are committed to providing a safe and secure delivery service, and a simple returns procedure.

Please read this policy where we will explain how we will achieve this.

Delivery

All UK and Northern Ireland items are either sent via Royal Mail FIRST CLASS RECORDED DELIVERY or a SIGNED FOR COURIER SERVICE, unless otherwise specified. This means that you should receive your goods within 1 to 2 working days of dispatch confirmation. Your purchase will be carefully packaged and gift wrapped (if you selected this service) and we will endeavour to dispatch goods within 24 hours of finalising the order with us. However during busy periods this may take slightly longer.

Some products such as furniture and personalised products may have longer dispatch and delivery times. This will always be explained within the products description.

Emma’s Home will only deliver to destinations within the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland unless previously agreed.

Emma’s Home has a standard delivery charge of £4.95, which will automatically be order to the order total. Please note that large items, such as furniture may incur a higher charge. This will always be explained in the product description.

In the unlikely event of non-delivery we can only replace or refund the order after 15 working days from the due date of delivery in the UK and Northern Ireland - at only that point can the Post Office officially declare the parcel as lost.  If it is discovered that an incorrect address has been supplied we will not be liable for the failure to deliver.

Please Note: we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by Industrial Action within the Royal Mail Service or transport networks.

Returns Policy

We hope that you will be pleased with your purchase.  However, should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange the product provided it is in fully resaleable condition. Returns should be notified in writing within 7 working days of receipt of your product to enquiries@emmashome.co.uk and sent back within a period of 14 days from receipt. Returns should be made in their original undamaged packaging and we suggest you obtain proof of posting and send via a trackable service. We cannot be held liable for returned items lost in the post.

We are unable to refund the following items:

  • Earrings or hair products due to current Health and Hygiene regulations. 
  • Made to order or personalised products.  

Incorrect, damaged or faulty items are fully exchangeable.  You should retain proof of posting and inform us of the cost of the return to enquiries@emmashome.co.uk and we will arrange refund to your card.  Emma’s Home does not accept responsibility for items lost in transit.  We will exchange the item upon receipt.  If exchange is not possible a full refund will be issued.

Please allow 5-7 days following confirmation for refunds to appear back on your card. None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights.
