Whilst you acknowledge that the Internet is not a 100% secure medium for communication, Emma’s Home Ltd will make every effort to protect the security of all the information you send to us (or we send to you) via the Internet. We cannot be responsible for any damages which you, or others, may suffer as a result of the loss of confidentiality of such information.
We take every precaution to protect your information. This includeds a number of strong precautions:
1. All personal information stored by us is kept on a server in a secure UK based highly resilient data environment. These sites have strong physical and logical security and the data centre staff are all CRB/ Background checked. In addition the hosting company is ISO27001 certified. Only employees, or our sub-contractors who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.
2. All our website financial transactions are handled through a secure payment gateway service provider called SagePay and we will only share the relevant data necessary for processing payments with this sole provider. Emma's Home Ltd does not record, store or have access to any of your payment or financial details.
3. The Emma's Home Ltd website is secured by SSL technology. This Secure Sockets Layer protocol ensures that all personal information such as credit card details is fully protected. Sites that have a SSL certificate in place have a https:// url.
4. Emma's Home Ltd are also in the process of gaining PCI DSS compliance. This credit card industry security standard offers additional evidence of how the company manages personal information.
